Mis-declared or mis-described waste commodities, recyclable cargoes, second hand
and used cargoes, a Waste Cargo Misdescription Fee (MMC) will be charged as follows:
Merchant voluntarily makes a request to correct the cargo description before
Carrier ascertains that the cargo has been misdescribed.
- USD 7,500 per container (E)
- USD 10,500 per container (A)
Mis-declaration/mis-declaration is discovered by Carrier after the cargo has
been received for shipment by the Carrier and no prior request has been made by
the Merchant to correct the description before discovery by the Carrier.
- USD 15,000 per container (E)
- USD 21,000 per container (A)
Mis-declared or mis-described non-hazardous cargo with special declaration requirements a Special Cargo Misdeclaration Fee (MMC) will be charged as follows:
Merchant voluntarily makes a request to correct the cargo description before
Carrier ascertains that the cargo has been misdescribed.
- USD 4,000 per container (E)
- USD 5,500 per container (A)
Mis-declaration/mis-declaration is discovered by Carrier after the cargo has
been received for shipment by the Carrier and no prior request has been made
by the Merchant to correct the description before discovery by the Carrier.
- USD 8,000 per container (E)
- USD 11,000 per container (A)
