Accounts Receivable - Staff Funds Section
The position is entry-level and located at the Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corporation corporate headquarters in Jersey City, NJ.
Job responsibilities may include:
- Process collection of outstanding ocean freight and other charges.
- Monitor the outstanding ocean freight and other charges of regional offices.
- Check customers credit references and maintain customers credit terms.
- Coordinate with other parties to solve billing discrepancies.
- Handle refund requests including compiling and processing documentation.
- Handle and distribute daily bank wire-in payments.
- Match payment key-in and prepare daily cash report for collections.
- Provide information and reports for CPAs annual auditing.
This is a union represented position and is subject to a collective bargaining agreement. | |||
Job Qualifications |

| Candidates applying for this position must possess a bachelors degree in accounting or a related field or have equivalent work experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Bookkeeping. Candidates must possess verbal communication proficiency, strong Microsoft Office Excel skills, and must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. | |||

The starting pay rate is 25/Hour.

Work Hours
