Customer Service Representative - Traffic Export
International Shipping / Logistics Industry


The position is located at the Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corporation headquarters in Jersey City, NJ.
Job responsibilities may include:
- create export bookings
- communicate with shippers, freight forwarders, and other offices regarding bookings
- quote rates and track cargo
- provide quality customer service to accounts
- create container load lists
- coordinate change of destination requests with related parties
- read and respond to e-mails in a timely manner

This is a union represented position and subject to a collective bargaining agreement.


Job Qualifications
Candidates applying for this position must possess a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. The candidate must exhibit strong verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. While no experience is necessary, knowledge of or an interest in international shipping and logistics is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits
The starting pay rate is USD25 per hour.
